Historian Amy Fuller tells the extraordinary Spanish Golden Age story of the 17th century Mexican poet, philosopher, playwright and nun Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz. She’s celebrated in Mexico as an icon, appearing on banknotes, the subject of plays and films and with a university named after her. Find out about her remarkable life and how she became known as a Mexican martyr.
